Job Description

The Legal Head will lead the legal function for the organization, ensuring full legal compliance across all real estate transactions, projects, and business operations. The individual will provide strategic legal advice to the senior management, manage regulatory matters, involving in land acquisition process, oversee all contract negotiations..

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Advisory & Compliance:

Advise management on legal risks and regulatory compliance. Ensure all real estate transactions comply with RERA, land acquisition laws, municipal regulations, and other statutory obligations. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations and provide legal counsel accordingly.

2. Contract Management:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including joint venture agreements, sale deeds, lease agreements, construction contracts, and MOUs. Ensure standardization and legal soundness of all documentation.

3. Title Due Diligence & Land Acquisition:

Lead the legal due diligence process for property acquisition. Validate title reports, encumbrance certificates, mutation records, and other property documents. Liaise with external legal counsel for title verification and litigation status.

4. Litigation & Dispute Resolution:

Represent or manage external legal representation in civil, consumer, RERA, and arbitration matters. Oversee case management, strategy, and court filings for ongoing legal proceedings. Aim to minimize litigation through pre-emptive strategies and settlements.

5. Regulatory & Liaison:

Maintain relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and legal institutions. Ensure timely filings and compliance with statutory bodies like RERA,

6. Team Leadership & Budgeting:

Lead and mentor the in-house legal team and coordinate with external law firms. Manage legal budgets, billing, and costs efficiently.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
