We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Advocate to support our legal operations, with a strong focus on land and property-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
Scrutinize and verify land-related documents, including title deeds, sale deeds, agreements, and related records, to ensure accuracy, legality, and completeness.
Conduct thorough due diligence on property titles, ownership history, and encumbrances.
Ensure all land and property transactions comply with applicable local and national laws and regulations.
Prepare, review, and vet agreements, contracts, legal opinions, and documentation related to land acquisition, leasing, and development.
Provide legal support and representation in disputes related to land ownership, property rights, or real estate transactions, including coordination with external legal counsel when required.
Advise management on zoning regulations, land acquisition procedures, and regulatory changes impacting real estate projects.
Assist in negotiations and legal discussions with clients, vendors, and government authorities.
Maintain systematic and accurate records of all legal documents, opinions, and correspondence.
Skills and Qualifications
LLB with a minimum of 2 years' experience in land and real estate legal matters.
Strong knowledge of property laws, land acquisition processes, and real estate regulations.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters efficiently.
