We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Legal Advisor
to provide legal guidance and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Legal Advisor will be responsible for drafting and reviewing contracts, advising management on legal risks, handling disputes, and supporting the company in all corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the company's compliance with applicable corporate, labor, tax, and regulatory laws.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Provide legal advice on business operations, policies, and strategic decisions.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate legal risks associated with company activities.
Handle disputes, litigation, arbitration, and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary.
Support corporate governance functions such as board meetings, shareholder agreements, and statutory filings.
Advise HR on employment law, employee relations, and labor compliance.
Safeguard the company's intellectual property rights (trademarks, patents, copyrights).
Conduct training sessions for employees on compliance, workplace ethics, and legal awareness.
Keep the management updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting the business.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Law (LLB / LLM).
Licensed to practice law [Bar Council Registration].
Proven experience as a Legal Advisor, Corporate Lawyer, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, labor law, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
