Salary Range: ₹40,000 - ?60,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary:
The Legal Adviser will be responsible for handling all legal matters related to real estate projects and transactions in Chennai. This includes providing legal guidance, ensuring regulatory compliance, drafting and reviewing property-related agreements, and managing disputes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property laws, RERA guidelines, and land documentation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on real estate transactions, property development, leasing, and acquisitions.
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including sale deeds, lease deeds, MoUs, and joint ventures.
Conduct property due diligence, title verification, and ensure compliance with local land laws.
Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations when required.
Liaise with government authorities, legal counsels, and clients for regulatory clearances.
Ensure compliance with RERA and other statutory requirements.
Advise management on potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain updated legal documentation and records for all projects.
Support internal departments (sales, operations, and finance) with contract and compliance needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate legal advisory or property law practice.
Strong knowledge of Tamil Nadu land laws, registration processes, and real estate compliance.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in English and Tamil (reading and writing).
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Salary & Benefits:
