The Legal Administrator's tasks will include maintaining and organizing files, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing administrative support to lawyers.
The ideal candidate should be able to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Their duties and responsibilities include:
Managing the office's administrative functions, such as scheduling meetings, appointments, and court dates
Maintaining and updating client files and case documents
Assisting with legal research, case preparation, and document drafting
Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Processing and organizing legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and subpoenas
Ensuring compliance with legal procedures and guidelines
Coordinating billing and accounting activities, such as invoice processing and payment collection
Supervising administrative staff and overseeing office operations
Managing office supply inventory and ordering supplies when needed.
