Position Overview: Lecturer - English & Lecturer - Mathematics

We are looking for passionate, dynamic, and committed educators to join our academic team as

Lecturer in English

and

Lecturer in Mathematics

. The ideal candidates should possess deep subject expertise, strong pedagogical skills, and the ability to inspire students of Grades IX to XII.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, structured, and academically rigorous lessons to senior secondary students (Grades 9th to 12th). Design and implement effective teaching methodologies aligned with board and competitive exam requirements. Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and inquiry-driven classroom environment. Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and support academic improvement. Prepare students for board examinations and relevant competitive entrance tests. Stay updated with current trends, methodologies, and developments in respective subjects. Participate actively in faculty meetings, departmental planning, school events, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

Master's Degree

in the relevant subject (English / Mathematics) from a recognized institution. Prior teaching experience at the senior secondary level will be preferred. Strong command over the subject and a genuine passion for teaching. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build rapport with students and cultivate a love for learning. Commitment to the values, ethos, and educational philosophy of YS Public School.
