B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Min 2 years of experience in the same field.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Teaching Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures on core mechanical engineering subjects such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials, Manufacturing Processes, and Machine Design. Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and teaching aids in line with the curriculum. Conduct lab sessions and guide students in practical experiments. Assign, evaluate, and provide feedback on student assignments, projects, and exams.

2. Academic Support:

Mentor and guide students in their academic development and career planning. Supervise final year projects and student research work. Maintain student records, attendance, and academic performance.

3. Curriculum Development:

Participate in the development and revision of syllabus and course content. Integrate modern tools, simulations, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS) into teaching methodologies.

4. Research and Publications:

Engage in research activities and publish papers in reputed national/international journals and conferences. Apply for research grants and collaborate with industries or institutions for funded projects.

5. Institutional Contribution:

Participate in department meetings, committees, and accreditation processes (like NBA/NAAC). Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and technical events. Contribute to institutional growth by taking part in outreach, admissions, and student counseling activities.

6. Industry Interface and Skill Development:

Build relationships with industries for internships, training, and placements. Keep up with recent advancements in mechanical engineering and integrate them into teaching.

7. Professional Development:

Attend faculty development programs (FDPs), seminars, and conferences. Continuously upgrade knowledge through courses, certifications, and training.
