Special Educator Vacancy: Astitva Child Development Centre, Sonepat
Astitva Child Development Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educator to join our team in Sonepat. This role focuses on providing individualized support and educational programs for children with learning disabilities (LD).
Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify specific learning needs and strengths. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on assessment findings.
Instruction: Deliver specialized instruction and remedial teaching in areas such as reading, writing, mathematics, and study skills, using multi-sensory and evidence-based techniques.
Collaboration: Work closely with parents, therapists (e.g., occupational, speech), and mainstream teachers to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to the child's development.
Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed records of student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed to maximize educational outcomes.
Environment: Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters self-esteem and independence.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential: A recognized qualification in Special Education (e.g., B.Ed. Special Education, D.Ed. Special Education) with a specialization or significant experience in Learning Disabilities (LD).
RCI Registration: Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
Experience: Previous experience working with children diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and other specific learning difficulties is preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, patience, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Fluency in Hindi and English is beneficial.
