Job Description


: We are hiring a Learning and Development Manager for a fast-growing organisation with a state-of-the-art factory in Bommasandra, Bangalore, having a large direct B-B & B-B-C sales team with a rapidly growing brand retail footprint in the building construction industry. The promoter has been one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India in the current millennium. The job entails managing domain & and process training requirements for the aligned business teams, i.e. from new hire training to assessing training needs of existing associates in business, creating & and implementing training and development plans. The training manager is required to liaise with various internal functions and business teams to support business objectives. The job will also entail extensive travelling to train the direct field force and that of our partners. The candidate should have good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Candidate should have prior experience in managing training teams, stakeholder relationships and multiple parallel training projects at the same time. The Training manager would be required to understand the business operations and decision-making processes, to be able to produce targeted and tangible results via an effective and efficient workforce in line with organization. An organized & and experienced candidate with training skillsets who excels in providing the best deliverables related to training roles & and responsibilities. The candidate would be responsible for performing training needs assessments and reviewing the designed curriculum (internally or externally) and learning materials while managing all phases of training interventions. Reporting to HR Head Qualifications Experience : Proven experience of 5-8 years as a Learning practitioner with facilitation accountabilities Good exposure to coaching practices - Individual and Group Exposure to Leadership assessment tools and Developmental methodologies Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at various levels to cater to business needs Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen L&D Certifications Education : A master\'s degree in business, human resources or a related field is preferred. Languages : Proficient in English and in South Indian languages, specifically Kannada is preferred. Responsibilities Assess employees\' skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement and training needs Work with Heads of Departments to identify the training requirements tailored to the business needs and individual EDPs; determine the priorities to create and implement a companywide training calendar Develop training manuals that target tangible results. Understand and collate training needs analysis by collating training needs from various sources and driving training programs Creating and customizing training content as per the requirement. Create e-learning capsules Organize training events based on the needs of the organization Look for external training programs and organize process creation, template creations and updates to existing processes/templates. Support in rolling out training with regard to processes, products and on business needs Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training meets business needs of improving performance. Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders wrt eQMS improvements Induction and Onboarding for new joiners Skill set / Right Person Have a passion for training, meeting, and coaching people. Good verbal, written communication, and presentation skills High people orientation and excellent people management skills. Demonstrated success in implementing innovative training techniques and learning technologies. Experience in creating effective content for training. Excellent Storyboarding and ability to prepare effective presentations/content for training Embrace different and newer styles of training techniques, including e-learning, tutorial sessions or coaching. Exposure to authoring tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning development systems, tools, and resources. Ability to innovate to create and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Proactive, effective communication and analytical skills. Interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Willing to travel extensively PAN India.
