Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented

Lean Engineer

to drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization in our operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement efficiency-enhancing changes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Lean projects to improve manufacturing and operational efficiency. Conduct value stream mapping, time studies, and root cause analysis. Implement 5S, Kaizen, and other Lean tools to eliminate waste and increase productivity. Train and mentor team members in Lean principles and practices. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process improvements. Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure process consistency and improvement. Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or safety. Maintain documentation of continuous improvement activities and their outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). 4 to 5 years of experience in a Lean Engineering or Process Improvement role. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Experience in using Lean tools like 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, etc. Proficient in data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques. Strong communication and project management skills. Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to ERP/MES systems. Experience in a manufacturing or automotive industry. Proven track record of successfully implemented improvement projects.
