About Our Client
Our Client is an Indian based MNC conglomerate with strong presence across the world and present in various sectors including energy, chemicals, oil and gas. They are looking to hire a Lead- Contracts Management for their Hazira or Jamnagar office.
Reporting to the Site Head, you will be responsible for:
- Handling all responsibilities of Procurement of Contracts for relevant functions across the site
- Owning all responsibilities of Onshore and Offshore contracts from concept to execution for Technology, Engineering, PMC, LSTK, Construction and Maintenance to optimize performance
- Using relevant knowledge of principles, regulations and practices for Contract Management and benchmarking with best-in-class companies, standardize processes to manage Contracts
- Review, negotiating and finalizing terms of Contract with Supplier or Contractors and taking initiative to administer the Contracts through their life cycle
- Ensuring the Contracts to meet intended outcomes and working with Procurement and Project Management teams to manage changes/claims in relation to time cost and other terms
- Collaborating with cross functional teams for achieving targets and cost reduction strategies
- Actively engaging in providing domain expertise for Design, Testing, and Adoption of relevant applications to optimize workflows, promote transparency and mitigate risks
- Leading a team and sustainably building them in terms of skills
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you are an Engineer (Master's degree is preferred) with at least 15-20 years of experience and 5-7 years in administration of various modes of Contract Management. You have excellent Communication, Conflict Management, Analytical, Negotiation and Adaptability skills. You have solid knowledge and experience in Management of Contracts for various functions in the organization. You have an excellent track record and are open for new challenges.
