Purpose of the Role
Responsibility for VAVE - Leading the HV systems Battery, Drives, Motors, Controllers and related electronic parts. Key Position to drive VAVE initiatives in HV systems domain
System Level Understanding, Design Reviews, Bench marking with global and Local Players to understand the optimum design and implementation of Value engineering ideas. Work with AQ , Advance Engineering , Supplier community to drive cost reduction ideas keeping eye on quality and Robustness of solutions. Benchmarking and New Technology evaluation and implementation plan
Job Responsibility
New Product Development:
Creation of Idea Bank for VAVE SW and HW requirements and Functional requirements, system architecture Component sizing and Zero-Based Costing evaluation.
Design Guidelines / Design simulations and recommendations of critical power components selections Power Module Model Creations, Control Electronic circuit simulations Lead implementation plans for VAVE ideas.
Identify new technologies for application to NPI program offering through tech development process Identify Simulation methods for Design verification for Design freeze Identify BM for improvement of designed /developed products consistently
NPI Process:
Track the implementation plan. Work across domains and functions to ensure ideas are syndicated and tested / validated for implementation Remove the bottlenecks by proper decision-making process and review mechanisms.
Develop milestones for each idea Collate data for Risk assessment and ensure timely escalation through review governance process
