Responsibilities:
Key Areas of Accountability

• Providing optimum Layout for Yards and connectivity as per Business requirement considering future expansions.
• Finalization of Railway Layout in consultation with master planning incorporating all business requirement, cargo projections with Optimum Capex and Opex during operation.
• Providing inputs for Railway Policies, applicability of the same in the project planning and site-specific solutions for fixing layout or facilities meeting overall requirement of the Project as per scope.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct option analysis of layouts considering business needs, traffic projections, and future expansions.
• Integrate scope requirements with master planning and finalize suitable layouts in coordination with lead design teams.
• Prepare DPRs, drawings, and documents for railway approvals and address operational observations.
• Provide constructability interface inputs and commercial notifications to clients.
• Apply knowledge of railway operations, IR, DFC, high-speed systems, and traffic planning manuals.
• Design and modify yards, calculate line capacities, and plan augmentations.
• Interpret and apply commercial circulars related to freight rates, siding rules, GCT, and NGR policies.
• Support siding commissioning and systems like FOIS, IMWB, and RR.
• Liaise with railway operations at site and coordinate with authorities at divisional, zonal, and ministry levels.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:

• Essential: Graduate in any discipline
• Desirable: PG in Logistics, Rail Traffic, Transport economics or related disciplines.

Required Experience / Exposure:

• 10 to 15 Years in Railway projects Design, DPR and Engineering and planning of Railway Projects.
• Preferably having worked in Indian Railways Traffic Department in planning position as TI/AOM/DOM.
