JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities:
xc2xb7 Work closely with development teams to understand API specifications and design effective strategies.
xc2xb7 Develop test cases and test server-side REST APIs using Postman
xc2xb7 Prepare test reports and update test strategy or test cases whenever necessary
xc2xb7 Creation and maintenance of API automation test scripts.
xc2xb7 Log and track detailed product defects.
Essentials

• Good understanding of Manual testing concepts.
• Good understanding of REST API workflow, hands-on experience in API testing using POSTMAN.
• Experience in designing and developing API automation scripts using POSTMAN preferably.
• Experience with working on performance testing using JMeter
• Self-driven and must be able to collaborate with cross functional teams
• Ability to quickly understand business requirements and propose reference architectures and technology solutions.
• Ability to drive discussions with all stakeholders regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex material to wide range of audiences in plain language
• Ability to multi-task, manage projects, set time frames, and meet deadline
• Ability to work as team player in a fast paced, and changing environment

Reserve Bank Innovation Hub(Client):
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) set up the Innovation Hub (Termed: RBIH), to promote innovation across the financial sector. The Hub will leverage technology and help create an environment that would facilitate and foster innovation.
RBIH will collaborate with financial sector institutions, the technology industry, and academic institutions to coordinate efforts for the exchange of ideas and the development of prototypes related to financial innovation.
The Hub will help develop internal infrastructure to promote FinTech research and facilitate engagement with innovators and start-ups.
