Job Location: Cubic block 181/183,200 feet pallavaram thoraipakkam radial Road,near Vels University of Zamin pallavaram village pallavaram taluk, Kanchipuram district Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600043

Job Role:

  • Planning, assessing, organizing, and delivering activities and creating customized learning experiences
  • Facilitating the all-round development of all children, enabling them to reach their full potential
  • Supporting the development of the children within the EYFS curriculum
  • Key Person role for a group of children, actively communicating with team members
  • Creating an inclusive environment for the staff, students, and parents/carers
  • Utilizing a range and balance of planning, teaching, assessment (recording and
  • reporting) strategies
  • Planning childrenaEUR(TM)s learning outcomes in the context of a coherent nursery-wide curriculum
  • Monthly/weekly/daily learning outcome goals and implementation into daily classroom practice
  • Execute the general plan of monthly/weekly/daily goals and lead and supervise planned activities
  • Using a variety of resources representing multiple perspectives and addressing the individual needs of children with different levels and types of ability
  • Producing accurate and effective observations to assess the childrenaEUR(TM)s progress and their effectiveness
  • Maintaining objective, accurate, and up-to-date progress records for future planning
  • Producing termly evaluation reports for designated key children and termly parent reports
  • Each teacher is assigned a Key Person responsibility that aims at ensuring every childaEUR(TM)s care is tailored to their individual needs; that the child becomes familiar with the Nursery setting and to offer a settled relationship for the child and builds a relationship with their parents.
  • Be accessible and available as a point of contact for parents or carers.
  • Observing and updating the childaEUR(TM)s care record and tracking their development within the Nursery
  • Updating the childaEUR(TM)s personal development records
  • Updating the childaEUR(TM)s individual planning and sharing the information with parents and carers.
  • Empowering children to feel responsible and involving them actively in their own learning
  • Supporting physical needs of the child not limited to nappy changing, toileting and dressing, settling to sleep, giving milk, fostering positive behavior
Requirements

Ideal candidate must have 2-4 years of similar work experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to undergo a background check and provide references.
