Lead Systems Engineer for Radiometer is responsible for Design, Development, and Implementation of complex medical devices and systems ensuring the successful integration of hardware, software and mechanical components to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and reliable solutions. This position is part of the Immunoassay R&D located in Bangalore, India and will be working in hybrid model. You will be a part of the Systems Engineering team and report to the Systems Engineering Manager responsible for Design and development of Immunoassay systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead the design and development of Immunoassay systems, collaborating with cross functional teams including R&D, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project objectives. Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of systems engineer and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, and retirement. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and manage system requirements, ensuring they are well-defined, feasible, and traceable Conduct product system risk assessments and mitigation strategies, identifying potential hazards and implementing effective controls to ensure patient and user safety. Proactively identity opportunities for process improvement and implement them to enhance product performance and efficiency. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Engineering 8+ years of strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, system architecture, risk management, usability. Proficiency in relevant tools and methodologies like SysML, Polarion, FMEA, etc Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose feasible solutions. The ability to think critically, troubleshoot problems, and make sound decisions is essential In-depth understanding of standards and regulations, such as FDA (e.g., 21 CFR part 820) and ISO 13485. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Knowledge of medical device development processes and QMS requirements Systems Engineering certifications from INCOSE At Radiometer we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
