Our company values help guide us on that journey Job Summary: Lead System Engineer is a role within Systems Design & Application Support team which is part of the Computational Systems Infrastructure (CSI) technology stream within Vehicle Technology. We have the system responsibility of the product development for the assigned technology area creating technical system solutions paving the way for implementation of functions within the CSI domain. Responsibilities: Lead the definition of concepts or system level solutions for the EPIC while striving for the best trade-off w.r.t QDCF considering the technical constraints Drive the development of competitive and timely system solutions for the defined areas, securing all aspects of the solution including the application SW of the different involved ECUs to the components changes and their installation Secure that the cybersecurity and functional safety risks are identified and mitigated together with the domain experts Perform system level performance and usage analysis to anticipate bottlenecks and needed upgrades Provide technical expertise and system knowledge to support the development teams through the development of the solution Provide technical recommendations on the different concepts Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Communication and related domains Experience: 8 - 12 years Strong knowledge in Embedded Systems from the automotive industry Good knowledge of the onboard communication technologies and protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) Knowledge of functional safety and / or cyber-security is a plus Knowledgeable in function design, application SW in real-time systems, Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and electrical components (sensors, actuators, etc.) Good communication & documentation skills Reports to: Group Manager - Systems Design and Application Support in Bangalore
