Job Description

Major accountabilities:



To provide meaningful financial information on Sandoz' Enabling functions, including:



Support Lead BPA in consolidating planning process for STO SCM

Ensure accurate and timely management reporting of results for STO SCM including proper cost accruals in line with accounting policies

Support Lead BPA to consolidate and review the monthly operating results for accuracy, proper accounting treatment and compliance with internal and external control requirements

Analyse and explain major variances to budget, forecasts, previous LO's and prior year

Support financial governance, compliance and risk oversight across SCM footprint, with a focus on transparency, accountability, and integrity in all financial reporting

Support financial aspects of supply chain transformation programs

Support to evaluate and financially specific projects (projected financial impact; actual results vs business case) and supplier contracts as requested by senior management

To lead the STO Finance team in Hyderabad, including talent retention and talent development, create a psychological safe environment where everybody feels safe to express his/her views and ensure good communication flow


Key performance indicators:



Forecast accuracy for in-scope cost centers

Accuracy, timeliness and relevance of financial information, reports, variance analysis

Proactive communication of risks and opportunities and controlling costs in line with approved budgets

Feedback from Business Partners (SCM Finance Lead, SCM LT members, STO FP&A, FRA)


Minimum Requirements:


Work Experience:



Functional Breadth.

Financial Management.

Project Management.

Business case management.


Skills:



Excellent analytical and strategic skills

Ability to understand the bigger picture (e.g. impacts of SCM across the business, etc)

Experience with interfacing effectively with global counterparts

In-depth knowledge of Sandoz business systems and enabling functions structure, including SHAPE, Data Warehouse, and IFP preferred

Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences

Strong PC skills including excellent proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Ability To Influence Key Stakeholders.
