  • 12-15 years of experience in Digital Media Sales (esp. agencies or advertisers), business development, strategic partnership or roles with equivalent scope.
  • Strong Relationships across Agencies and Advertisers PAN India.
  • Strong analytical skills and structured problem solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
  • Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve for ambiguity, building and driving for scale, managing large team while still being hands on. Strong leadership skills.

The Role: We are looking for a highly accomplished business professional to lead partnerships with strategic group of agencies for advertising business. As a senior leader, you will drive sales and adoption of the various ads solutions across categories and have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of Amazon's ads business in India.

You will have a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape and operating with large agencies (e.g GroupM, Publicis, DAN) at scale.

Proven expertise across performance as well as brand solutions. You will own agency relationships, build GTM strategies and drive revenue for the business.

To achieve success, you will work very closely with the India Ads Leadership, Sales Teams, Program teams, Marketing, Product and other cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building partnerships and working in a complex, cross functional environment. S/he must also possess strong communications skills and the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions to internal and external stakeholders. S/he will have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and desire to win!

Key job responsibilities
  • Serve as a key member of the agency leadership, helping to drive overall Amazon Advertising revenue and drive business growth for strategic group agencies.
  • Established strong, profitable, long-term relationships with agencies and brands.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a highly ambiguous environment.
  • Drive structured thinking and manage complexity of a multi-million dollar business.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to understand the various existing products, drive prioritization basis customer need and focus on needle moving inputs.
  • Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to increasing adoption customers.

  • 12-15 years of experience in the ad sales (TV, OTT/ Content, Video, Sports domains) managing PAN India business.
  • Experience at building teams, ideally with a focus that includes sales and go-to-market strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in winning and retaining clients and establishing relationships with partners
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Adept at making data-driven decisions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment
  • Should be able to contribute both as an individual contributor and as leader of people
