The Role: Lead Software Engineer

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a rockstar front-end engineer with significant experience in developing modern web applications to join our software engineering team as a strong contributor and technical leader. Solera customer-facing tools are the core of our business, and our internal applications drive future growth. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be a leader, helping us to build a modern set of frameworks, services, and applications and continue our success in the transportation space.

Skills

• Java, C#, JavaScript, Python (A least one)
• ISTQB Foundation certification (Good to have) or equivalent experience knowledge,
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XPATH
• RobotFramewok, Selenium, Apium (Desirable)
• CI(Jenkins), Git/Perforce/BitBucket, Docker, Jira

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

Interface with developers and system architects to ensure applications are designed to be testable while ensuring tags, object ID\xe2\x80\x99s, component and page name standards are in place.

Create test plans and test cases based on defined stories. Automate those test cases and incorporate them to correspondent test suites.

Run automation suites and evaluate results as builds are deployed to the test environment via CI tool like Jenkins

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring

• 8-12 years of experience testing mobile or web platforms.
• Knowledge of Java or Java Script programming.
• Good understanding of web technologies.
• Be able to automate test cases with Selenium or any automation Framework along with automation frameworks, preferable using Python language.
• Desirable experience in TestNG and Java
• Strong knowledge T-SQL or PL/SQL for database validation
• Desirable experience on Mobile automation for Android & IOS using appium/other tools
• Experience testing websites & API\'s via any automation tool.
• Desirable experience or knowledge in software testing practices, especially BDD/acceptance test-driven development. You will be expected to write automated tests while features are being developed.
• Strong debugging / problem resolution skills, and ability to multitask and handle multiple time critical issues / projects simultaneously.
• Other Tools/Technology Preferences: Cucumber or Ruby , GitHub, Jenkins, JMeter, AWS Web Services, Protractor Jasmine Junit, XML, REST

EDUCATION: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in same a plus. ISTQB Foundation Level certification desired.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Quality Assurance with a proven track record in successfully completing projects while meeting and/or exceeding the project goals and objectives
