Your Impact:

We are part of OpenText Cybersecurity Enterprise division specializing in Threat Detection and Response Domain. Our product helps security operations teams to efficiently and effectively preempt and respond to threats that matter with proactive threat hunting, real-time threat detection, and response automation.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced person to drive the design, development, and lifecycle management ofhardware appliances. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of deployments across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in hardware engineering, system integration, and understand its software architecture.

What the role offers:

Design and development of hardware appliances, including sizing, component selection, and performance optimization. Collaborate with platform architects to align hardware specifications with SIEM use case requirements. Define and maintain standard hardware configurations for various deployment models (on-prem, hybrid, high-availability, etc.). Evaluate and integrate new hardware technologies to improve appliance efficiency and scalability. Oversee integration of software components with hardware platforms. Conduct performance benchmarking, stress testing, and validation of appliance builds. Develop automation scripts and tools for appliance provisioning and configuration. Provide technical leadership during incident resolution and root cause analysis related to hardware performance& security Maintain documentation for appliance architecture, deployment guides, and operational procedures. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering or infrastructure development Experience with server hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS), RHEL OS& Storage systems, and networking. Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting. Good to have CEPH / RHEL certifications. Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies (VMware, KVM, Docker). Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery architectures. Ability to understand container based product architecture (k8s, docker etc) Knowledge of cybersecurity operations and threat detection workflows. Basic exposure to cloud-based deployments and hybrid infrastructure models
