Lead Software Engineer specializing in SAP Hybris

to join our dynamic team and take charge of designing, developing, and maintaining advanced E-commerce solutions on the SAP Hybris platform. Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of SAP Hybris-based E-commerce applications and solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables Oversee the technical architecture and performance tuning of the Hybris platform, ensuring scalability and maintainability Coordinate code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables Investigate and resolve technical issues related to SAP Hybris, Azure Cloud, and integrations Build and maintain integrations with third-party systems using OCC, APIs, and other relevant technologies Drive improvements in development processes, tools, and methodologies in alignment with Agile/SAFe principles Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster a culture of learning and professional growth within the team Perform root cause analysis for complex production issues and implement effective solutions Stay updated on emerging Hybris and E-commerce trends to implement modern practices and tools

Requirements

8-13 years of IT experience Minimum of 5 years of strong SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) platform knowledge, including recent version experience At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience Proficiency in Java (Java Core, Java 8/17 features, Collections, Multi-threading, Dependency injection, JMS) and Spring Framework (Core, Data, Boot) Expertise in SAP Hybris/CCv2, including areas like Multi-tenancy, Business Processes, OMS (Sourcing/Allocation), Promotions/Vouchers, WCMS, Type System, SOLR, CCv2 cloud architecture, StoreFront Skills in Azure Cloud (ASB, SPN, KV) and database technologies including RDBMS (Microsoft SQL Server preferred) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB) Experience with DevOps practices such as trunk-based development, feature toggles, and performance investigation Proficiency in development tools and methodologies like Jira, Confluence, contract testing, security testing, JMeter, and Postman Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with customer service expertise Familiarity with SAFe methodologies and the E-commerce domain Familiarity with Groovy scripting on SAP Hybris Good written and spoken English (B2 and higher) with a focus on effective communication

Showcase of experience in advanced integrations using OCC/Swagger Understanding of clustering and rolling updates in SAP CCv2 Background in performance monitoring and testing on E-commerce platforms Knowledge of advanced collaboration tools or methodologies beyond Jira and Confluence
