Then read on!We are currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality, high-performance software solutions for cell health life sciences devices.In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Perform instrument software development work in a collaborative team environment
• Carry out all phases of software development, including requirement specification, design, implementation, software integration, testing, and documentation required to meet company procedures
• Take ownership of the high-quality implementation of software features for instrument software
• Collect inputs from stakeholders, develop concepts, and conduct feasibility studies
• Execute quality assurance activities such as risk analysis, technical reviews and code inspections
• Undertake software maintenance efforts
• Support the continuous improvement of the software development process
• Work in an iterative product release environment, continuously focusing on quality and delivery goals.

The required qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in commercial software development with hands-on experience in C++ and C#
• 2+ years of experience using Windows applications with a database such as PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of software design principles
• Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Understanding of software development processes in a regulated environment
• Experience in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience using WPF, .NET Core, and containerization technologies
• Experience with Maven, Jenkins etc.
