Job Description

Summary All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.



Roles and Responsibilities

Should be a BE/Diploma in Electrical Engg. with 8-10 years of experience in O&M of switchyard, plants & machineries.

Should possess Certificate of Competency (License) issued by Electrical Licensing Board.

Should have knowledge of EHS and inclination to follow it in spirit and letter.

Knowledge of LOTO procedure and PPEs, CPEs are critical for this position.

Should aware of challenges and troubleshooting of substation and switchyard equipment.

Should possess the knowledge of MIS and reporting system.

Should be self-motivated and customer focus.

Should have experience of handling team and customer in challenging environment.

Should be a team player and team leader as per the situation and org/customer requirement.

Willing to work and perform under pressure and multitasking .

Knowledge of transformer, breaker, isolators, DG sets, etc.

Experience of operation & maintenance of 220KV AIS and LT power distribution system.

Knowledge of installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with established methods and procedures

Knowledge of protection, metering & measurement of various electrical parameters

Knowledge of applicable electrical standards, codes, specifications & safety requirements

Knowledge of testing various power distribution components like cables, switchgears & transformers

Knowledge of preparing various types of MIS reports pertaining to:

Routine maintenance work

Complaint management

Material Management

Breakdown Analysis

Required Qualifications

For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Services & On Site Services. Knowledge level is comparable to a Post Diploma / Diploma / Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with relevant experience of > 5 Years in HV Circuit breakers Services field ).
