Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic

Senior HR Manager

to lead our People Culture function. This strategic role will work closely with the leadership team to shape and implement HR initiatives that support Varaha's mission, drive organizational growth, and build an inclusive and high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities:




Strategic HR Leadership




Partner with the leadership team to define and execute HR strategies aligned with Varaha's mission, values, and business objectives. Lead people initiatives that scale with the organization's growth and foster long-term sustainability.

Talent Acquisition




Oversee end-to-end recruitment, ensuring a seamless process that attracts mission-driven, top-tier talent. Collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate and fulfill current and future staffing needs.

Employee Relations Culture Building




Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment by proactively addressing employee concerns and implementing effective conflict resolution processes. Act as a culture champion to embed our values across all levels of the organization.

Performance Management




Lead the performance appraisal process, offering training and support to managers to ensure meaningful feedback and employee development. Drive a culture of continuous learning and accountability.

Learning Development




Identify skill gaps and design learning programs that empower employees and strengthen organizational capabilities. Implement scalable training initiatives tailored to a growing and diverse team.

Compensation Benefits




Manage compensation structures, incentive programs, and benefits to remain competitive and equitable. Ensure all offerings comply with local labor regulations and industry standards.

HR Compliance




Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal policies, minimizing risk exposure. Keep HR documentation and employee records audit-ready at all times.

HR Analytics




Leverage data and HR analytics to generate insights, monitor trends, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)




Champion DEI initiatives, ensuring that Varaha is a welcoming workplace where every team member feels valued and respected.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, including 4+ years in a senior/strategic HR role. In-depth knowledge of HR laws, labor regulations, and HR best practices. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or entrepreneurial environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing HR teams.
