About the Role:
Lead Security Research Engineer will join the security research and development team. The role involves performing research on the latest vulnerabilities, exploits, frameworks, developing security content and signatures.
Role & Responsibilities:Providing technical leadership to security research engineers Research and development of vulnerability detection scripts for the latest security vulnerabilities Understanding the relationship between vulnerabilities and malware, attack tactics, techniques and mitigation Creating a proof of concepts for detecting the latest vulnerabilities Identifying ways to fix or mitigate the vulnerabilities Perform Peer testing and QA for the developed content Automating repetitive tasks using Python or any other scripting language Writing technical blogs/articles on the latest security trends/vulnerabilities/exploits Developing security tools

Skills:5-8 years of experience in security research role with Security/Cloud/SaaS-based companies with a demonstrated track record Practical knowledge of Security, Vulnerabilities, and Exploits Creating, reproducing and demonstrating proof of concepts for the latest vulnerabilities Good in at least one of the programming languages (python/C/C++/LUA or similar) Good understanding of IT Infrastructure Management and Information Security and exposure to various security technologies Knowledge of System and Network security Familiarity across Unix/Linux, Windows, Mac systems and Virtualization Exploit development, IDS/IPS signature development will be an added advantage Good analytical and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle conflicting priorities Strong communication skills, Verbal & Written (English)

Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science Engineering 5-8 years of experience in computer or cybersecurity research * Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
