The job in this posting is for the Image Processing Product Group, which is part of the Entertainment Division of Barco. The Image Processing group is a diverse, multi-national team that designs products used primarily in Live Events, such as corporate presentations, trade shows, auto shows, concerts and other events. The products are build to process a multitude of video inputs, compose the images in real-time with minimum delay, and output to display devices (LED screens, Projectors, LCDs etc.).

About the Role

Lead SDE will be responsible for the development of next generation of Image processing product from scratch. The candidate will be responsible for architecture and developing web application, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities

Develop architecture of web application from scratch.
Take responsibility of software architecture, up to a releasable feature.
Developing front end website architecture.
Designing user interactions on web pages.
Developing back-end website applications.
Designing and developing APIs
Ensuring responsiveness of applications.

About the Successful Candidate

A successful candidate is expected to be having strong technical background and hands-on experience on web. Candidate must have proven background and track record of learning and adapting to new technologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience
7 to 10 years of post-degree relevant experience
Qualified as B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / M.C.A in Computer related subjects

Must have skills
Strong hands-on experience working with various Angular version 7/8/9
Expert in JavaScript and Typescript.
Hands-on experience in Node.JS applications.
Hands-on experience working with HTML 5, CSS 3
Strong hands-on experience in building/designing angular libraries.
Hands-on experience working with NgRx or any other state management.
Able to understand and contribute into client-side and server-side architecture artifacts.
Able to develop front-end of applications through appealing visual design (wireframes)
Strong hands on experience working with Security practices.
Experience in designing and developing REST APIs & its security.
Good communication skills, good knowledge of spoken and written English.
