Lead Research Scientist - Beverages/Dairy - 8+ Years - Mumbai
An excellent opportunity for a seasoned Research Scientist to lead innovative R&D initiatives in the dairy industry. This role focuses on product development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, offering significant exposure to cross-functional collaboration and industry leadership.

Responsibilities - * Lead R&D initiatives to develop new food products, formulations, and recipes that align with market trends and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and sales teams to identify market opportunities and translate consumer insights into innovative dairy products.
• Manage product development projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Establish and maintain quality management systems and procedures that comply with food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP, GMP).
• Implement quality control measures across the production process, from raw materials to finished products, and conduct audits to ensure product excellence.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring full compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams (senior management, production, procurement, supply chain) to align R&D and quality initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements - * Master's/Bachelor's or advanced degree in Dairy or a related field.

• Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in R&D and quality management within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and industry standards (e.g., FSMA, SQF, BRC).
• Proven track record in driving innovation in product development, formulation, and commercialization.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects from concept to launch.
