Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities


Design development and review of Process automation solutions using various tools and technologies


Testing of IT solutions web applications using formal software test practices leveraging automation


Implementing best engineering practices on continuous test and automated tests


Evaluate and develop automation frameworks as per requirements of project


Maintain automated regression suites packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features


Research on latest technologies to implement best possible solution for various projects.

Project and Position Role Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail oriented Quality Automation Engineer to join our team. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining Automation framework ensuring efficient and reliable automated process executions in various applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements implementing automation pipelines and monitoring the executions daily and reporting anomalies.

Working knowledge of MS SQL SQL query language and SQL Management Studio


Experience with back end API testing


Experience implementing quality engineering practices in a CI CD pipeline or workflows version control test management and integrating automation frameworks


Hands-on experience on working with cloud AzureOpen shift based application


Strong analytical skills


Experience 6 to 8 years

Roles & Responsibilities JD for QEA Technical Skills- Selenium Java Cucumber Cypress Gherkin Test Requirement Analysis Identify requirement defects by adopting shift left levers e.g.Requirement Ambiguity Matrix ADPART and other cognizant solution accelerators Perform KT on user stories Design estimates time effort based on the requirements analysis In case of critical technology create test scripts and seek review inputs from the test lead Understand and analyse the requirements through review of requirement document to identify the testable requirements Prioritize the requirements based on the time required Prepare high-level flow documents Organize and drive the requirement walkthrough session PrepareReview the flow diagrams Seek clarification on the requirements from the customer Perform Proof of concepts or evaluate different tools if required Test Strategy and Test Planning Document the test plan based on the understanding of test strategy covering project details items under scope items out of scope type of testing assumptions dependencies risks foreseen entryexit criteriafor each cycle Seek sign-off on the test plan from the client Provide inputs for test plan creation including number of test scenarios and test cases used for estimation of the test cycles schedule dependencies etc.in addition to the other dependencies from various teams like environment availability third party interfaces and test data etc. Participate in collaborative sprint goal definition session to determine what the team plans to achieve during the sprint.
