Job Title: QA Tester with Manual and Automation experience, JIRA/Azure devops Expertise, and AI Knowledge

Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous QA Tester with hands-on experience in executing Manual and Automation testing scenarios, proficient in using JIRA/ Azure devops for test management, and possessing foundational knowledge in automation and AI. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality software by thoroughly testing applications across various stages of the SDLC, from requirements analysis to post-release validation.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Testing

: Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios covering all aspects of the application, ensuring complete test coverage from requirements to post-release.

Automation

: Development and execution of automated test scripts. Explore and apply basic AI concepts to enhance testing processes.

Test Management

: Utilize JIRA/Azure for managing test cases, tracking defects, and maintaining traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects. Experience with JIRA plugins like Xray or Zephyr is a plus.

Test Documentation

: Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Document defects with clear reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.

Collaboration

: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality standards are met.

Regression and Sanity Testing

: Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Conduct sanity testing to verify that specific functionalities work as expected.

Exploratory Testing

: Engage in exploratory testing to identify potential issues that may not be covered by predefined test cases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Manual Testing Expertise

: Proven experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, sanity, smoke, black-box, and white-box testing.

Automation Skills

: Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Ready API. Scripting knowledge in languages like C#

Tracking Proficiency

: Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA/Azure devops for test management, defect tracking, and reporting.

Test Documentation

: Strong ability to create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

AI Fundamentals

: Basic Understanding of basic AI concepts and their application in software testing.

Agile Methodologies

: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Communication Skills

: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Security testing :

Experience in working on security testing of the application

Good to Have

Advanced Automation Skills

: Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.

Performance Testing

: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.

Continuous Integration

: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.

AI-Powered Testing Tools

: Exposure to AI Driven testing using copilot, knowledge of LLM and GPT models
