Your Impact:

We are OpenText-Fortify and we specialize in Enterprise Application Security. Our product helps you manage, measure and integrate security for the entire software lifecycle.

What the role offers:

Define and drive the overall QA strategy for the SAST product, aligning with security and development objectives. Establish quality benchmarks and metrics such as scan accuracy, defect leakage, and rule coverage. Oversee the development and execution of test cases targeting security vulnerabilities, false positives/negatives, and rule accuracy. Collaborate with security researchers and developers to validate detection logic and rule updates. Recommend and implement process, strategy, tools and techniques to enhance automation and testing efficiency in collaboration with the team members Build and maintain dashboards to provide visibility into product quality Ensure timely delivery of new features, functionality, and defect resolutions. Mentor team members on product quality and test automation, security testing best practices and static analysis techniques.

What you need to succeed:

8+ years of commercial QA experience, including significant work in QA Automation Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices. Knowledge of the application security concepts Solid programming skills in Python and proficiency in OOP principles. Strong knowledge of backend CLI testing and automation tools, as well as practical experience in the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable test automation frameworks Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Pipelines, Groovy) Demonstrated ability to create and maintain comprehensive technical and QA documentation, including system design and engineering documents, detailed test plans, test cases, defect reports, and release sign-off artifacts. Report of automation progress, effectiveness and results Good working knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
