Job Description

: What You\'ll Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Cypress.io and Cucumber for web applications in an Agile environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and product owners to define test cases and acceptance criteria. Review and analyze user stories and technical requirements to develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Create and maintain BDD (Behavior Driven Development) feature files, with help from the PO, using Gherkin language to ensure test case coverage and traceability. Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, and work with development teams to identify root causes. Continuously refine and optimize testing processes, practices, and tools to improve overall test efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes using tools like Jenkins or similar. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives to ensure test activities are accurately planned and executed. Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to ensure continuous improvement of our testing approach. Implement a Test Strategy and ideal QA team structure based on the Team needs. What We Are Looking For Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web applications. Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io and Cucumber, including a deep understanding of BDD principles and Gherkin syntax. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with popular web development frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile development environment. Passion for software quality, continuous learning, and professional growth. Nice-to-Have: Experience with other testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, TestCafe, or Protractor or Mockoon Familiarity with other programming languages, such as Python or Java.
