Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Python & AI/ML Engineer to architect, design, and deliver intelligent solutions that transform business challenges into scalable AI-driven systems. This role combines strong hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and a visionary mindset to advance innovation across our AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of AI/ML solution development -- from research, prototyping, and experimentation to deployment and production scaling.
Architect robust and scalable systems, data pipelines, and MLOps frameworks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI strategy, roadmap, and measurable success metrics.
Mentor and guide ML engineers and data scientists through best practices and code excellence.
Evaluate emerging technologies, build PoCs, and integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities.
Ensure model fairness, accountability, observability, and governance standards.
Optimize model performance and operational efficiency through continuous improvement.
Contribute to documentation and maintain coding standards for long-term sustainability.
Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.

• 7+ years of professional experience in Python development and AI/ML engineering.

• Expertise in ML frameworks and libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, etc.

• Solid hands-on experience with deep learning (NLP, Computer Vision, or Recommender Systems).

• Strong background in software engineering principles, APIs, microservices, and design patterns.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker, Vertex AI, Airflow, etc.

• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data processing, and distributed computing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with LLMs, Generative AI, and vector databases.

• Exposure to big data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).

• Familiarity with security, compliance, and Responsible AI frameworks.

• Open-source contributions or publications in AI/ML.
