Job Purpose: Lead Projects - Mechanical manages all mechanical aspects of data centre projects, including planning, procurement, and technical guidance. This role ensures project alignment with goals, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement while mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
Procurement Oversight:
Oversee the procurement of mechanical equipment and materials, maintaining quality standards and meeting project specifications.
System Oversight:
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and other mechanical equipment
Technical Guidance:
Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, ensuring successful execution of mechanical tasks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Site Inspections:
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure mechanical work meets project standards.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company health and safety policies.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement initiatives to improve project efficiency and quality.
Mentoring:
Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Brand Positioning:
Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.
Team Development:
Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital business success.

Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Work Experience:
12-15 years of experience in the Data Centres industry/Heavy Infrastructure Projects - Proven track record of successfully leading and managing mechanical projects.
