We offer our products (sports bikes, scooters, utility mopeds etc.) and services (insurance, service at home etc.) to users across India as well as 80+ countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
At TVS digital engineering group, we are a community of product owners, software developers, data Scientists, Machine Learning Researchers and Data Engineers, working to build a multi-channel digital ecosystem (website, mobile app, ecommerce, AR/VR, Chatbots, personalization, search etc.) to provide world-class user experience to our end-customers and generate incremental revenue for TVS motors. We partner with our end customers, business teams, AI/ML and digital application development teams to build products in different areas of the customer value chain.
Total available market: About 2 Cr (20 Mn) customers buy two-wheelers in India every year and roughly 4-5x across the world. TVS owns 15% market share in India and roughly 3-5% market share globally (excluding India).
Existing customer base: More than 1.5 Cr customers drive TVS bikes in India and more than 5 Lakh customers drive them in international markets. Our customer base in India is growing in high single digits and international market is growing in double digits every year.
Distribution channel: To create brand awareness, consideration and enquiry generation, we connect with our customers both online and offline.40-50% of the sales leads are generated via online digital platforms (our website www.tvsmotor.com , social media and 3rd party bike comparison websites like www.bikedekho.com ) and rest are walk-in leads to our 5000+ dealer network, both authorised and multi-brand outlets. In international markets, lead generation is predominantly walk-in leads today. We have an aggressive digital marketing and digitalization roadmap to build customer facing apps to generate digital leads. So far we have launched websites and customer connect mobile apps in 15+ countries with a goal to increase 3X countries in next 12 months)
About the role
We are looking for a lead product owner (Digital & AI) for customer facing applications. Our website www.tvsmotor.com and our android and iOS native customer App, TVS connect.This person’s primary responsibility will be improve digital marketing funnel KPIs (traffic, usage & engagement and commerce) for our website and customer connect mobile App, using product mgmt lifecycle management processes and frameworks. This role will engage actively with end-customers, marketing, website engineering, SEO, web analytics and data science team.
This position will report to the divisional manager of product management for customer facing applications, India and international business.
Product owner will oversee the development of software, data and AI products from start to finish to ensure they meet the end-user needs and preferences. Product owner’s main duties includes driving the vision of products, translating product vision to a product roadmap, managing various backlog items and deciding which features each product will have according to stakeholder’s and customer’s preferences. Product owner will define the why and when of the product in partnership with business sponsors, and will co-own what and how in partnership with engineering & analytics colleagues.
