As the Trade and Supply Chain Finance market evolves through digitalization and globalization, Finastra is at the front of these changes, by driving innovation and thought leadership.What will you contribute?Reporting to the Head of Product Management, the Senior Product Manager will manage the life cycle of assigned products and initiatives.This role includes:Understanding the customer needs and supporting product development in line with the agreed Product Strategy.Working with internal stakeholders such as Development, Client Support, Sales, Legal and Marketing teams.Working with external stakeholders such as Banks, Non-Banking Financial Institutions and 3rd party service partners.all to further Product growth and success.Responsibilities & DeliverablesYour deliverables as a Senior Product Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:Product ManagementAct as a subject matter expert for Trade and Supply Chain Finance products and Finastras Trade Innovation softwareDevelop a deep understanding of the customer needs and experiences, drive product enhancement and provide recommendations toward the Product roadmap strategyOwn the delivery of the assigned product initiatives from strategic planning through go-to-market. Development areas include new trade and supply chain finance functionality, cloud and open APIs ecosystem growth, AI adoption and other initiatives.Identify product gaps and generate new product ideas that drive product adoption and growth, support overall direction for product enhancements and development requirements.Drive use case and business case development for new products and initiativesSupport the FTI team related activities as needed, the team is comprised of Product Management, Delivery, Business Analysis, Development and Quality assurance functions.Identify and analyze critical issues related to the product design and promotion of the product(s), support the resolution of customer related issues where requiredSupport management reporting processes such as annual and monthly product roadmap reviews, software gating process, and other management requests.Ensure alignment and coordinated approach across other Product Management groups and cross-product functions.Market AwarenessAssess market competition and Finastra market share by undertaking competition analysis and monitoring market developments.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Stakeholder ManagementAct as point of contact for all product related queriesSupport Sales activities such as Request for Proposal/Information Requests (RFP/RFIs), product and pricing queries, sales pipeline reviews and attend client meetings as required.Work with Sales Enablement and Marketing teams to develop effective communication activities and programs including product positioning and collateral developmentLead product user groups, participate in user conferences and customer advisory boards.Support vendor management by maintaining relationship with existing partners as well as appraising new potential partner relationships.Required Experience7+ years of relevant Financial Industry experience, services and/or software.Proven track record of product management accomplishments and initiatives with demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution.Experience working with project management software application analysis, design or implementation (knowledge of project management principles, including Agile).Expertise in the global trade and supply chain finance market, with working knowledge of emerging technologies and initiatives shaping this industryTrade and Supply Chain Finance, product management experience from financial institution or technology provider preferred.An adaptable, collaborative mindset with the passion and enthusiasm to work in an organisation that is delivering the future of financial servicesExperience with management and project orchestration tools e.g. JIRA, Salesforce, AHA!We are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
