Job Title lead - Plastic Design

Experience 5 to 9 years
Location Ahmedabad
Roles and responsibilities
Design of plastic panels for 2W application using CAD software -CATIA
Work jointly with structures and Vehicle Integration team to define the mounting strategy for
Body Panels.
Able to generate Master section for mounting concept study.
Should be able to interpret results of Engineering analysis (CAE/CFD), Mold flow analysis
etc.
Draft, release and maintain drawings and 3D model of the plastic trims in PLM.
Maintain and release BOM of Body Assemblies using PLM software.
Coordinate with the cross functional teams to conclude on the best suited engineering
solution for the plastic trims.
Independently perform task and report the daily work progress to reporting manager.
Provide support to vehicle build, validation and homologation team for resolution of issues
with correct root cause and analysis.
Knowledge of sheet metal and fabrication is an added advantage.
