About the Role:

Tubes India is seeking a technically skilled

Piping Engineer/Designer

to support the

Marketing and Sales

team. This role bridges technical knowledge with customer engagement, helping promote the right products for specific industries, applications, and machines. The ideal candidate will understand pipe system design, standards, and usage across sectors like fabrication, infrastructure, construction, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a technical resource for the marketing and sales teams. Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate pipe grades, sizes, and specifications. Support product positioning based on usage (e.g., pressure lines, structural, chemical flow, machinery integration). Create and review technical documents, datasheets, and promotional material. Assist with client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations from a technical perspective. Collaborate with the procurement and stock teams to match customer requirements with available inventory. Provide input on market trends and industry-specific demands.

Requirements:

Degree or diploma in

Mechanical Engineering

,

Piping Design

, or a related field.

2-5 years

of experience in piping design or engineering (preferably within the

pipe manufacturing or supply industry

). Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ASTM, IS codes, etc.). Familiarity with pipe design for various sectors (e.g., oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure). Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients. Proficiency in

MS Office

, and basic design tools (AutoCAD or similar - optional but preferred). Languages: English, Hindi, Marathi (Gujarati is a plus).

Preferred Qualities:

Customer-centric with a consultative approach to sales support. Able to interpret technical drawings/specifications. Comfortable working closely with both engineers and marketing professionals.

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
