Lead Piping Design Engineer:

We are hiring Lead Piping Design Engineer for our client a international engineering architecture project and construction firm.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinatation with other offices of our Client, and understand the scope of work deliverables ,timelines, hours etc

2.Lead a team of Designers in Bangalore for scope of work assigned from project office and report back to project office lead on project progress.

3.Participate Model Design coordination meeting

4.Interface with BIM and Design Leads

5.Conduct Design reviews -both formal (with clients) and informal(internal)

6.Produce and Check complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics, sketches and electronic 3D models for equipments in accordance with project requirements, codes ,specifications and procedures

7.3D Piping Design

8.Isometric generation from Process P&IDs

9.Review Stress Analysis report and update the piping 3D Design

10.Clash checking for pipe clashes

11.Coordination of design with other design disciplines and vendors.

Qualifications:

A degree in Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering

Minimum 10 years piping design experience with 3-5 years as Lead Piping Design Engineer

Minimum 3-5 years in the use of Integraphs SP3D(S3D)/CADWorx/Plant 3D
