We are looking for a self-motivated and passionate technology enthusiast to join our team as a

Lead PHP Developer

. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other MVC frameworks, along with strong database and front-end skills. You will work on high-quality web applications and collaborate with a team of skilled developers to deliver scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, test, document, and maintain high-quality web applications. Implement project management practices and follow structured development workflows. Develop applications using MVC frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, Yii, or Zend. Work with CMS frameworks like WordPress when required. Optimize PHP code, database queries, and functions through code reviews and project audits. Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide constructive suggestions. Mentor and train junior developers to enhance team technical competence. Provide accurate effort estimates and ensure timely delivery of tasks. Continuously research and adopt new technologies to improve infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of professional experience with Laravel and CodeIgniter. Strong understanding of PHP frameworks, MVC architecture, and application design patterns. Proficiency in MySQL, including indexes, full-text searches, and advanced query optimization. Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, or similar libraries. Experience in API development (RESTful services). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to tackle technical challenges. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Passion for learning and implementing emerging technologies.
