Job Description


The Role Responsibilities

  • Exciting opportunity in Data Privacy Technology space, to transform the Data Discovery and Classifications, and deliver enterprise wide.
  • Looking for process-oriented Techno-Functional Business Analyst with 10 years of IT experience, with minimum 4-5 years of working experience in Data Management / Data Privacy / Data Protection space.
Strategy
  • Ability to create Strategy / Approach paper and present to stakeholders.
Business
  • Good understanding of Data Management \xe2\x80\x93 Privacy, Sovereignty, Protection needs.
  • Perform deep dive Business analysis, requirement gathering - create User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Data Analysis:
o Collect, measure, organize, analyse and classify data
o Identifying Data patterns and trends, Data analysis to assess the data quality and report the results
o Design and develop, test to ensure data outputs/results are in line with requirements.
  • Ability to provide/facilitate solutions,
  • Identify impacts to existing processes/functionalities due to new business requirements/change.
  • Create work break down structure and assist leads in creating a project plan.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentations \xe2\x80\x93 Use cases, Solutions - Functional specification document detailing solutions with Traceability matrix to business requirements.
  • Rules library custodian \xe2\x80\x93 Creation/maintenance
  • Build reusable codes/components. Register Integration patterns with Architecture teams.
  • Ensuring Quality delivery from Vendor / Developers. Verify Accuracy, Coherency, and testability of requirement before releasing product to wider stakeholder.
  • Review test strategy, test scope, test cases/scripts; Provide techno-functional support to Testing / QA teams.
  • Conduct defect triage meetings during SIT/UAT/UVT \xe2\x80\x93 validate the severity and priority and work with the vendor / development team in addressing them.
  • Prepare Application System Run Manual (ASRM), Application Installation Guide (AIG) and Release notes.
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, testers, and business stakeholders for timely and smooth release of product.
  • Work with SRE team to address any issue/Gap in timely manner, ensure production system stability.
  • Monitor the scanning results for false positive cases; advise business/operation for any tweaking of rule required. Identify/suggest process/System improvements
  • Assist squad in implementing the best practices for privacy controls, including identification and mitigation of data protection issues and risks.
  • Prepare KPI.

  • Identify and log/report risks and issues in timely manner and help to mitigate.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Other Responsibilities
  • Provide required training to squad members \xe2\x80\x93 Development, Testing and Business.
  • Organise product walkthrough / Demo with the extended stakeholders.
  • Train Junior Analysts.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in IT/Computer Science [10 years of IT experience, with minimum 4-5 years of working experience in Data Management / Data Privacy / Data Protection space.]
  • Programming languages SQL, Python, Java, C/C++
  • Data visualization, dashboard and Reports development using MSTR/Tableau/PowerBI/OBIEE;
  • Integration experience using API development.
  • Certifications - BigID, Informatica, Securiti AI, OneTrust etc. is desirable.
  • Certifications - CIPT/P/M, DCAM will have an added advantage.
