Design and develop PCS hardware and control systems for renewable energy and energy storage applications.
Perform modeling, simulation, and optimization of PCS using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, PSSE, ETAP, PVsyst, AMESIM, and PSIM.
Implement advanced inverter control strategies, including grid synchronization, reactive power control, and fault ride-through capabilities.
Conduct BESS sizing and operating philosophy studies for grid stability and energy transition projects.
Work on HVDC, high-frequency conversion systems, LV/HV conversion, and solid-state transformer applications.
Perform HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) validation using FPGA-based platforms and embedded programming (Verilog, Quartus Prime, Vivado, ARM IDEs).
Develop and integrate serial communication protocols (IEC104, IEC61850, CAN, Modbus, RS232/RS485, SPI, I2C) for PCS control and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for technical evaluation, product specification, and compliance with industry standards.
Support full product lifecycle activities, including design management, troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and quality assurance.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Power Electronics/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in PCS design and development.
