About the role




The PPC Lead plays a pivotal role in executing and optimising Paid Search activity at scale across Tesco Groceries, Marketplace, F&F, and Retail Media. This role owns
day-to-day campaign activation and optimisation, ensuring Paid Search delivers new customer acquisition, revenue growth, and trading performance, while operating to
best-in-class standards.
This role is designed for a high-ownership PPC specialist who can confidently lead execution, partner with campaign teams and CPG suppliers, and act as a trusted expert
within a complex retail and retail-media environment.

You will be responsible for

Support the Paid Search Manager/ Senior Manager in executing and best-practice optimising Paid Search campaigns across:
Groceries, Marketplace, F&F, Retail MediaDeliver end-to-end Paid Search execution across Google Ads, Microsoft Bing, and Search Ads 360, including:

Campaign activation and setup, Automated bidding strategy optimisation, Keyword, ad copy, and asset builds, Budget management and campaign run-rates, Audience
strategy and activation, A/B testing and experimentation, Feed management, Performance forecasting.Planning, Trading & Performance Delivery

Lead planning and optimisation across key trading areas (Food, General Merchandise, F&F), including: Monthly promotions & Seasonal and critical trading campaigns
Execute campaigns based on briefs from campaign teams and CPG suppliers, ensuring accuracy, pace, and quality.
Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to inform optimisation and planning decisions.Reporting, Insights & Communication

Deliver regular performance reporting, competitor tracking, and actionable insights to campaign teams and CPG partners.
Translate complex performance data into clear recommendations that improve efficiency and revenue outcomes.

You will need




Google Ads / Meta Certifications (Search, Shopping, Apps)
7 to 10 years hands-on experience managing Paid Search campaigns using
Google Ads and Search Ads 360.
Google Analytics Certification
Strong understanding of Paid Search best practices, optimisation levers, and
Experience in retail, grocery, or high-volume e-commerce environments.
