Job Summary:

The Network Capacity Design program aims to uplift bandwidth of FTTX network to enhance the Network capacity and provide cost-effective Design solutions. This program involves planning, designing and building various Fibre network elements including Carrier ethernet switch, FAN access switch, POI service Switch and delivering design packages.
This role is responsible for delivering the Client requirements by creating an efficient day-to-day Operations and managing the key deliverables while ensuring the SLA & KPI are achieved. Also drive all KPI, Quality and Service Improvement Initiatives.

Roles & Responsibility:

• The role requires understanding of the planning scope & work plan to create Network Design Document (NDD) to support Enterprise E2E design and PON Patching, new builds/upgrades, including Aggregation Network, Carrier Ethernet Network, DWDM and transit fibre.
• Must be proficient in creating process documents, end to end flow diagrams, and step by step work instructions for team.
• Perform Time and motion study for AHT calculations to align with the SLA targets.
• Design quality processes and ensure efficient implementation of Quality KPI and improvement matrices .
• Team management with the strength of 25+ team members
• Drive Daily and weekly process reports and performance reviews.
• Continuous engagement with Client, internal and external stake holders.
• Tracking and ensuring that daily SLA and all KPI are achieved.
• Tracking the weekly productivity of the team and publishing the score cards on time (Monthly & Weekly).
• Hosting WBR & MBR to client and internal Leaders.
• Capable of hosting the Client engagement activities in offshore.
• Should be able to improve the quality and productivity of the team.
• Able to identify the automation opportunities and generate use cases.
• Focus on the Continuous Service improvements and capable of generating Ideas using brainstorming techniques.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• B.Eng.or B.Tech. in Electronics/ Computer science/ Telecommunications related disciplines.
• 8 to 12 years\' experience in large-scale telecommunication provider/ ISP with multi-vendor equipment & multi-Technology environment.
• Must have expertise on Datacentre Network Design, Carrier Ethernet Aggregate/Access Network Design.
• Must have experience in Fibre network designing specifically in FTTX, DSLAM, GPON & DWDM.
• Must have Design experience on Nokia 7740, 7750, 7450, 7210, 7302, Corient hiT 7300.
• Proficient on Design & planning tools on GIS applications, SpatialNet, autocad, MS Visio.
• Proficient with Network Architecture & Network Diagram (topology, fibre splitters, branch).
• Must have hands-on experience inventory management & Cleanup tools
• Must have proficiency on MS Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must have efficient communication skills both verbal and written.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems engineering for front-end processors, cloud infrastructure, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems.
• Ensure timely rollout of system enhancements, migration, deployment, and optimization projects.
• Involved in planning, architecture designing, developing, and testing solutions and service products riding on network or across multiple network layers.
• Involved in the development of systems including storage, load balancers, servers, and routers/switches.
• Manage physical connectivity, hardware and automation tools.
• Resolve issues based on escalations from the end user.
• Perform integration with existing systems and conduct service validation prior to hand over to Service Operations team.
• Direct the assurance team in adopting measures for fault rate and ticket rate reduction.
• Ensure engineering Projects completed within target dates within budget and agreed scope.
• Performance tuning and automation of application.

Mandatory Tools & Technical Skills

• Proficient in IP routing and configurations on routers and switches
• Hands-on experience on IPAM, IPAC, Xplan,Spatial net, Metabase, APPIAN cloud
• Must have Design experience on Nokia 7740, 7750, 7450, 7210, 7302, Corient hiT 73XX series.
• Must have proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint)

Working Hours

• There is permanent work from office and no option for work from home is available.
• Shifts timing will be as per AEST/ Australian time zone, starting by 1 am / 2 am or 3 am IST based on business requirements and week offs will be rotational.
• Public & festive holidays will be as per Australian calendar.
