Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow hardware requirements, configuration guides, and documented restoration procedures for branch networks.
  • Direct the activities for the installation, maintenance, and operation of routers, switches, wireless, voice, and related peripheral equipment.
  • Coordinate and engage with field technicians to ensure proper installation, activation, and repair of network components.
  • Work with WAN providers and vendors to ensure timely reporting and escalation of network-related problems.
  • Assist in documenting and maintaining SOPs that support daily network operations.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate network failures and performance issues; work closely with vendors for resolution.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the status of applicable WAN circuits and components.
  • Maintain IP Address management system and related processes.
  • Update Configuration Management as required to track inventory and other configuration items.
  • Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of secondary connections across the WAN (DMVPN via broadband, LTE, or other transport).
  • Handle network-related escalations, questions, and requests on network issues
  • Work with other groups within IT to resolve network related issues as needed.
  • Work after-hours as needed in support of the operation of the enterprise network environment and participate in an on-call rotation.
Platform administration
Proficiency with the following applications is preferred:
  • App Neta, Solarwinds, , Microsoft Office 365 Administration, , Paessler PRTG, APC Struxureware, Cisco Meraki, ServiceNow, Versa
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of enterprise / branch network voice/data communications experience preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills; must be fluent in MS Office and related applications.
  • Advanced Network skills and experience, CCNA required, CCNP preferred, and additional certification relevant to the position.
  • Advanced troubleshooting experience and certification in wireless networking is preferred.
  • Experience in an enterprise network operations environment, including large-scale deployments and refresh of multiple technical theaters.
  • Experience with SDWAN infrastructure.
  • Experience with Security protocols.
  • Experience within Cloud Management and Technology.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
