Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Oversee the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA, to define and implement new features.
Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
Manage and optimize the use of Git for version control and collaborate on code deployment strategies.
Utilize JIRA for tracking project progress and issue resolution, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners, providing updates and gathering feedback.
Implement and advocate for Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, to enhance team productivity and project outcomes.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mobile technologies to continuously improve our applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
9+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on React Native.
Proven track record of delivering mobile applications on time and within scope.
Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to pass a technical test in React and React Native.
Tools and Technologies:
Proficient in React and React Native for mobile application development.
Strong understanding of Git for version control and code management.
Experience with JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration and understanding design patterns.
Knowledge of design patterns and user experience principles.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
