Dropty is building a world class consumer mobile experience in the travel and aviation ecosystem. We are creating a B2C product that handles sensitive passenger data, payments, and real world pickup operations with airline integrations.

This is not a brochure app. This is a production grade system where reliability, security, and operational correctness matter.

Role Overview

We are looking for a

Lead Mobile Engineer (Flutter)

who will

own the complete mobile experience

at Dropty.

You will be responsible for building

both Android and iOS apps from scratch

, defining the mobile architecture, and making key decisions on performance, security, and user flows.

You will work directly with the COO and product team, influence backend API design, and lead mobile development as a product owner, not just a developer.

What You Will Own

Architecture and Product Design

Design end to end mobile architecture for multiple applications supporting different user roles and workflows Define folder structure, navigation strategy, state management, and data flow Translate high quality UI designs into clean, scalable, maintainable Flutter code Actively collaborate with backend engineers and push back on weak or unsafe API contracts

Reliability and Offline First Design

Design mobile applications assuming unreliable or intermittent network conditions Implement safe local persistence, retries, and synchronization mechanisms Ensure data integrity during state critical, real world user interactions Prevent data loss, duplication, and inconsistent states

Security and Data Protection

Handle sensitive user identity and transaction related data responsibly Implement secure storage and safe authentication token handling Design flows with immutability, auditability, and correctness in mind

Performance and Quality Ownership

Ensure fast startup time, smooth navigation, and responsive UI Optimize memory usage and background processing Perform thorough manual testing of all critical flows Own crash monitoring, release stability, and production readiness

Release Ownership

Own Android and iOS releases end to end Manage Play Store and App Store submissions, certificates, and policies Handle versioning, production issues, and hotfixes confidently

What We Are Looking For

Must Have

4 to 6 years of strong Flutter development experience Experience building and shipping production grade mobile applications Strong understanding of Flutter fundamentals and state management Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous workflows Ability to design for reliability, failure scenarios, and real world usage

Very Important

Strong product mindset, not ticket driven execution Ability to think in terms of flows, edge cases, and irreversible states Comfortable taking ownership and making architectural decisions Clear communication and willingness to challenge weak designs constructively

Good to Have

Experience with offline first or distributed mobile systems Experience handling sensitive or high risk user data Exposure to production crash debugging and performance tuning
