:

Role: Lead, Microsoft Application Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Development Specialist for implementation and continuous improvement of Microsoft Search across our enterprise ecosystem. This role will also play a key part in integrating structured and unstructured data sources and enabling intelligent search experiences through Microsoft Copilot Chat and Copilot Studio.

Key responsibilities

+

Microsoft Search Implementation & Optimization

+ Design, configure, and deploy Microsoft Search across Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.) + Customize search verticals, result types, and connectors to meet business needs
+ Monitor and improve search relevance, performance, and user experience

Data Integration & Knowledge Management

+ Integrate standard (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive) and non-standard (e.g., legacy systems, third-party platforms) data sources + Implement Microsoft Graph connectors and APIs for custom data integration

Copilot Enablement

+ Collaborate with business and IT teams to design and implement Copilot Chat experiences + Develop custom Copilot plugins and scenarios using Microsoft Copilot Studio

Governance & Compliance

+ Ensure search and Copilot implementations adhere to Schneider Electric's data governance, security, and compliance standards + Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage data access and privacy

Skills and experience

Education and experience

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, and primarily Microsoft Search

Must have skills

Microsoft 365 & Search Ecosystem

+ Deep understanding of Microsoft Search architecture, schema, and customization + Experience configuring

search verticals

Data Integration & Development

+ Development experience using

PowerShell
