Position Description:

Commercial Learning services collaborates with business partners to drive a learning culture that increases organizational performance, productivity and compliance to achieve Lilly goals. The CLS LCCI Center of Excellence is our content development center located in Bangalore, India.

The LCCI Lead MMS Simulation Expert is responsible for the design, development, implementation of eLearning solutions and simulations for learning. The LCCI Lead MMS \xe2\x80\x93 Simulation Expert will partner with Indianapolis-based Strategic Business Partners to establish charter and outline learning objectives \xe2\x80\x93 then work closely with the LCCI Content Developers, Editors to create the learning assets. The LCCI Lead MMS \xe2\x80\x93 Simulation Expert should anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks, interface with Lilly partners and integrate new business processes where necessary. The LCCI Lead MMS \xe2\x80\x93 Simulation Expert ensures the successful quality design, development, delivery of training media development projects.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

Lead MMS \xe2\x80\x93 Simulation Expert

Expert-level knowledge of:

  • SCORM and xAPI specifications, including custom integration
  • Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise)
  • Creating High fidelity Simulation in Storyline
  • Adobe CC
  • Using JavaScript programming in Articulate Storyline
  • Work with project team members to design wireframes, and UI for eLearning Courses.
  • Should have sound knowledge of Graphic & UI Design Principles and theories.
  • Having experience working with GenAI Graphic Tools is a plus.
  • Should have worked on creation high fidelity simulations with Gamified Functionalities like points, Badges, Leaderboard
  • Ability to create higher level of eLearning course with gamification elements using articulate storyline and java scripting.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with tight timelines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to frequent change and moving project priorities.
  • Work as a team player and provide support as needed to fellow team members (we all succeed or fail together)
  • Manage quality control and troubleshoot others\xe2\x80\x99 work, both technical and creative.
  • Spearhead implementation, testing, debugging, troubleshooting and technical support for completed courses. Apply the results from usability testing to create new features and improve current features of UI.
  • Should be able to apply ADA/accessibility compliance features in created learning solutions/applications.
  • Understands the Multimedia principles and apply them in eLearning for better learning experience
  • Coordinate with the LCCI Content Developer and the Imaging Production and Licensing Lead roles to select and obtain needed permissions for photography.
  • Establish and maintain templates in various formats (Word, PowerPoint, Articulate Rise, Vyond) to ensure alignment to the business and internal standards.
  • Lead the development of storyboards.
  • Ensure all documents are well written, usable/executable, and compliant with Commercial Learning Services learning strategy, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate on project teams; lead assigned projects.
  • Establish/add simulation quality standards. Drive quality standards through review of project documents, design, deliverables, final and learning content.
  • Seek out new, innovative media types available to offer business partners.
  • Benchmark as appropriate, seeking opportunities to improve processes.
  • Conduct usability testing as requested.
Client Management
  • On-point for managing timelines and capacity, coordinating with team members across multiple time zones (content developers, editors, learning strategists).
  • Communicate project and program status.
  • Anticipate and resolve project/program issues; escalating as appropriate.
  • Surface improvement opportunities for process.
Basic Requirements:
  • 8+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience designing interactive e-learning media
  • Provide technical leadership or support on projects and initiatives requiring programming.
  • Competence with standard IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Demonstrated ability to establish strong business relationships.
  • Ability and willingness to challenge business partners to improve our work.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, judgment and managing complexity.
  • Strong work ethic, personal motivation, and team player who is dynamic and result oriented
  • Good presentation skills, interpersonal and communication skills, fluent (verbal and written) in English.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment, with ability to work across time zones.
Additional Preferences:
  • Experience with, HTML, XML or other coding language a plus
  • Ability to effectively partner outside functional area.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrix-based organizations.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 7+ years experience in eLearning development
