Job Purpose

- Logistics Engineering Head (Experience 15+ Years B.E Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Lead

warehouse layout planning

, space optimization, and storage bin design in alignment with operational flow. Plan and execute

infrastructure setup

for new projects and existing warehouse areas including racking, shelving, docks, and handling equipment. Prepare and release

RFQs to suppliers

for warehouse infrastructure, trollies, fixtures, and related material handling systems. Manage

trolley design and development

for in-plant logistics, ensuring ergonomic and safe handling of components. Oversee

trolley manufacturing

, vendor coordination, and ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. Lead

maintenance, repair, and refurbishment

of existing trollies, bins, and warehouse equipment to maintain operational readiness. Conduct manpower

resource planning and allocation

for warehousing activities, including manpower and material movement aids. Drive

continuous improvement projects

to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost optimization in logistics engineering. Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams for implementation of material flow and storage systems. Ensure

compliance with EHS standards

, audit readiness, and adherence to internal controls. Prepare

capital expenditure (CAPEX)

proposals, budget forecasts, and monitor project execution against timelines and costs. Lead

digital initiatives

for layout visualization, inventory visibility, and performance tracking. Support

training and skill development

of the logistics engineering team members. Hands on CREO, Auto cad or Pro E
